Abbott denies talks of laying off Piramal employees
On June 2, 2010, BioSpectrum had reported that post integration, Abbott might adopt a strategy to lay-off employees of Piramal Healthcare by September 2010. Officials from Abbott’s headquarters however have denied such plans.
Kemwell to double European capacity
India-based contract manufacturer Kemwell is nearly doubling its space at a facility in Uppsala, Sweden. Construction is on a fast track and production in the new facility will begin this year, the company said.
